LHS Lady ‘Cats take two of three

  On Thursday, Jan. 17, the Lady Wildcats defeated conference foe Newburg 52-32. The game was costly to Licking, with Junior starter Karlee Holland was injured in the first quarter.
  Licking fell to Salem in an away game, 57-42, the following evening, Friday, Jan. 18.
  The Lady Wildcats were able to rebound from the defeat and scored a win in the opening round of the Mansfield Lady Lions Invitational Tournament on Monday, Jan. 21, with a score of 67-20. The next round of the tournament is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 24 at 6 p.m., where LHS will face the winner of the Forsyth/Ava game.
