By Cynthia Wampner The groundhog saw his shadow, so that means we have to wait six more weeks until spring, although we already have had some pretty nice weather. Do you need a tax write off for 2017?  Keep in mind that we are a 501(3)c. And we will give you a letter for your contribution. The heating and cooling has all been roughed in, we are waiting on the units to be installed. A little bit more wiring, and then some drywall on the ceiling and then we will have some insulation blown in. But we are far from ...

By Cynthia Wampner It's hard to believe that old man winter is just around the corner. What do you get from sitting on the snow too long? POLAROIDS The bake sale on Saturday went really well. We stuck it out until 4:00 pm. Special thanks to Carol Fox for letting us be under the carport at the funeral home, and to the ones who brought baked goods to sell. Then on Sunday we had the Lula Laroe party and had a lot of fun. We finally received all the bids on the heating and cooling on the new building. They should ...

By Cynthia Wampner Good morning to everyone. I hope you had a happy Thanksgiving. While my husband and I were traveling to San Antonio to see Caitlin graduate, I was thinking where in the world would we eat Thanksgiving dinner?  So I stopped and bought a pumpkin pie and a can of whipped cream.  The pie was so awful, I threw it away.  So the whipped cream was all we were able to eat. But, we had a wonderful Thanksgiving lunch a few days before we left, at the senior center. So I guess that was good enough. I have ...
