The 2018 Licking Wildcat junior high volleyball season looks to be a promising one with the return of a successful and talented eighth-grade team and an incoming group of talented seventh grade girls. Our girls gained a lot of experience in our elementary level volleyball program and that experience shines at the junior high level.

Our eighth-grade team went 9-3 last season, and we look to continue that success with a strong start against Summersville and in the Texas County tournament. The seventh-grade team has started off strong in practice and I am excited to see them compete in their first game.

We kick off our junior high season traveling to Summersville on Sept. 7. On Saturday, Sept. 8 we will host the Texas County Tournament; teams playing in this tournament include Licking, Summersville, Houston, Raymondville and Success.
