Harold Eugene McElfresh

 Harold Eugene McElfresh, age 75, transitioned to life eternal surrounded by his family Monday, November 19, 2018.
   The Licking, Missouri native was the son of the late Vernon Medford McElfresh and Doris Faye Burnett.
  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Doyle and Wayne McElfresh.
  Harold loved his family, especially his grandchildren, and was calm in the face of a storm. He loved a good joke and was always the first to laugh. Harold retired from General Motors after 37 years of service; he was a lifelong member of the local UAW #2164 and was an avid Nascar fan. He attended Cave Mill General Baptist Church.
   He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Donna Faye Atterberry McElfresh, two sons, Steve McElfresh (Emily) and Stace McElfresh (Christy), five grandchildren, Becky, Zac, Cody, Reece and Brooke, two brothers, Cecil McElfresh and Norman Burnett, one sister, Susan Hendricks (Matt), one sister-in-law, Mary McElfresh (wife of Wayne McElfresh), and several nieces and nephews.
  Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at the Cave Mill General Baptist Church with visitation from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the church and burial to follow in Bowling Green Gardens. Arrangements have been entrusted to J. C. Kirby & Son Funeral Chapel.
