Suspects sought in shooting death of area native

  The Gasconade County Sheriff‘s Department issued a press release on Nov. 30 regarding the Nov. 25 shooting death of Jesse James Robbins.
  “On November 25, 2018, members of the Gasconade County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation into the death of Jesse Robbins of Bland. Working in coordination with members of the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group, two suspects were identified; Brooke Buddemeyer, age 29, and Aaron “Foozball” Lewis, age 36, of Bland.
  “On November 29, 2018, after a lengthy investigation, warrants were issued for both Buddemeyer and Lewis. 
  “Buddemeyer is wanted for Second Degree Murder and Armed Criminal Action with a bond of $750,000. Lewis is wanted for Second Degree Murder
with a bond of $500,000.
  “At the time of this press release both subjects are still at-large.

  “Buddemeyer and Lewis were last seen Sunday morning (November 25, 2018) driving a black 2015 Nissan Versa with Missouri license plates number SM1C7H. Both subjects are considered dangerous and anyone with information related to the whereabouts of Buddemeyer and Lewis is asked to contact local law enforcement immediately.”
  Family reports that Buddemeyer was Robbins’ stepdaughter, and Lewis was believed to be her boyfriend.
  Robbins grew up in Edgar Springs and Newburg, and numerous ties remained to family and friends in Texas, Dent and Phelps County.
