Multi-agency drug investigation/warrant roundup

  The Texas County Sheriff’s Office, and the South Central Drug Task Force announces the conclusion of a long term narcotics investigation conducted by members of South Central Drug Task Force, in Texas County. The South Central Drug Task Force, in coordination with the Texas County Sheriff’s Office, Licking Police Department, Houston Police Department, Cabool Police Department and Missouri State Highway Patrol, arrested 17 people Wed., Feb. 27, during the early morning operation.
  Thomas L. Stanton age 19, of Houston, delivery of a controlled substance, bond $150,000.
  Daniel G. Stephens age 35, of Licking, delivery of a controlled substance, bond $150,000.
  Brenda L. Brim age 63, of Houston, delivery of a controlled substance, 2 counts, bond $150,000 each.
  Heather R. Strunk age 32, of Cabool, delivery of a controlled substance, bond $150,000.   
  Frank W. Davy age 57, of Licking, delivery of a controlled substance, bond $150,000. 
  Rachel M. Friend age 21, of Licking, delivery of a controlled substance, bond $150,000. 
  Tamirah L. Jones age 29, of Houston, delivery of a controlled substance, bond $150,000. 
  Steven R. Caraveo age 24, of Houston, distribution of a controlled substance in a protected area, 2 counts, bond $500,000 each.
  Christopher R. Giller age 48, of Licking, possession of controlled substance, delivery or possession of controlled substance at county jail, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to register motor vehicle, bond $75,000. 
  Alex J. Collins age 29, of Houston, delivery of a controlled substance, bond $150,000. 
  Shawn L. Greer age 34, of Houston, delivery of a controlled substance, bond $150,000. 
  The following defendants with non-drug warrants were also arrested during the operation.
  Paxton M. Cox age 22, of Houston, property damage first degree two counts, stealing two counts, bond $50,000 each; tampering with motor vehicle first degree, bond $75,000.
  Nicholas M. Jones age 27, of Houston, tampering with motor vehicle first degree, bond $50,000. 
  Zachariah T. Sawyer age 20, of Houston, tampering with motor vehicle first degree, bond $50,000. 
  Jeffrey A. Stocum age 55, of Plato, stealing $750 or more, bond $75,000. 
  Daniel J. Smith age 43, of Cabool, operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner, failure to wear seat belt, bond $500. 
  Roger R. Davids age 59, of Cabool, driving while revoked/suspended felony, operating motor vehicle without financial responsibility, failure to dim headlights, bond $50,000.       
  Over the course of several months, undercover operatives with South Central Drug Task Force, Rolla Police Department, Phelps County Sheriff's Office and Missouri State Highway Patrol were able to conduct a series of covert narcotics investigations involving the distribution/sales of controlled substances.
  The success of this investigation was only possible through the cooperative efforts of all member agencies of the South Central Drug Task.  Additional indictments and arrests are anticipated throughout the Texas County area.   The above charges are mere accusations and are not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
