Licking jumped out to an early lead on the Eagles by putting up 18 first quarter points, while Plato scored 12. The Wildcats continued to extend their lead in the second behind Michael Milhizer and G.T. Nicholson, who combined for 16 out of Licking’s 18 points in that period. Licking now led 36-24 as the half ended. The third period was a big one for the Wildcats, who got scoring from 7 different players to put up 24 points and take a 60-33 lead into the final frame. The Eagles were unable to put any kind of a run together and Licking put 13 different players in the quarter to finish the game with a 75-48 victory.
