Wanda Mae Peters

  Wanda Mae Peters, age 82, daughter of Howard and Thelma (Ramey) Russell was born August 6, 1936 in Cove City, Ark. She passed away March 13, 2019 at Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston, Mo.
  Wanda married Eddie Peters on April 19, 1958 and to this union two children were born.
  Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, James Russell; and one sister, Pauline Watson.
  She is survived by one son, Michael Peters and wife, Josie of Fort Worth, Texas; and one daughter, Pamela Kell and husband, Terry of Raymondville, Mo.; four grandchildren, Ashton Kell of Raymondville, Alex Kell of Houston, Mo., Ahren Peters and Mason Peters of Fort Worth, Texas. Wanda is also survived by one brother, Darrell Russell of Van Buren, Ark; one sister, Ruby Ball of Van Buren, Ark.; and one sister-in-law, Vera Russell of Van Buren, Ark.; and several nieces and nephews.
  Wanda was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church and accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior at a young age. She was a homemaker and worked at The Cannery. 
  Wanda was a traveler, she has lived in Washington State, Texas, Arkansas and her travels include Florida, California and Tennessee. Her last travel was by plane to Holly wood, Calif. where she finally realized her dream of seeing the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She loved singing, music, reading the Bible and her family.
  Wanda will be greatly missed by her family and friends who loved her, and will always be remembered.

  Graveside Services were held Friday March 15, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Pine Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home. Pallbearers were: Alex Kell, Ashton Kell, Terry Kell and Michael Peters.
