Easter Bunny hopping this way

By Shari Harris

The Easter Bunny is making tracks…bunny tracks, that is…to hide eggs for many area Easter egg hunts. So if you haven’t decided which one you want to attend, here are the choices we were able to find.

Licking
The City of Licking’s April calendar shows three Easter egg hunts planned in Licking.

April 13 at 2 p.m.: Hickory Manor Easter Egg Hunt at Old City Park. Hickory Manor is providing 2,000 eggs, the Chamber of Commerce is providing prizes, Licking Residential Care Center and Three Rivers Hospice are donating 200 eggs each, and Hospice Compassus is donating candy for eggs. The Easter Bunny will be there for pictures, so bring your cameras.

April 20 at 11 a.m.: South Central Correctional Center Egg Hunt at Old City Park. The third annual Community Easter Egg Hunt will include face painting and over 1,000 eggs filled with treats. Walmart of Houston and Licking Town & Country contribute to this Egg Hunt.

April 27 at 8:30 p.m.: Flashlight Egg Hunt at Deer Lick Park.

Edgar Springs
April 13 at 1 p.m.: at Edgar Springs City Park (rain day is April 20).

Montauk State Park
Montauk State Park has an Easter Sunday Lunch Buffet April 21 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Most churches in the area have special services for Easter Sunday, and some have dinners and fun events for their congregations. There is no shortage of events, so have a great Easter.
