The Licking High School Track team competed at the Waynesville invitational Thursday, April 18. Both the boys’ and the girls’ team placed seventh overall. Placing in the top three and medaling for the boys’ team was the boys’ 4x200m Relay team with a time of 1:39.41; members were Tyler Chambers, Kasen Monds, Eli Keeney, and Cainan Hutsell. Medaling for the girls’ team were Abagail Moncrief first place Discus throwing a distance of 95’4” and third place Shot Put with a distance of 30’4”; third place Bailie Joyner Discus with a distance of 88’0”; and third place Kelly Lewis High Jump clearing a height of 4’10”.  Individual who placed in other events were Heather Leuthen fourth place Pole Vault clearing a height of 7’6”; Seth Overall fourth place Pole Vault clearing a height of 12’0”; Josh Lilly fifth place Pole Vault clearing a height of 12’0”; Tomi Rose fourth place Long Jump with a distance of 14’11” and seventh place 100m Dash with a time of 14.26; Kelly Lewis seventh place Triple Jump with a distance of 30’11.25”; fourth place boys’ 4x800m Relay team with a time of 10:27.47, members were JB Huff, Jacob Huff, Kaleb Lewis, and Adam Trump.  Maggie Cline seventh place 100m Hurdles with a time of 18.76 and eighth place 300m Hurdles with a time of 53.82; girls’ 4x200m relay team was sixth place with a time of 2:04.92, members were Maggie Cline, Winter Murray, Abby Cole, and Kelly Lewis; Keegan Black fourth place 1600m Run with a time of 4:49.88, seventh place 800m Run with a time of 2:11.76, and fifth place 3200m Run with a time of 11:03.52; fifth place girls’ 4x100m Relay team with a time of 57.12, members were Winter Murray, Kelly Lewis, Abby Cole, and Tomi Rose; seventh place boys’ 4x100m relay team with a time of 48.55, members were Kasen Monds, Josh Lilly, Cainan Hutsell, and Eli Keeney; seventh place Tyler Chambers in the 300m Hurdles with a time of 45.53; fifth place Cainan Hutsell 200m Dash with a time of 24.61; sixth place boys’ 4x400m Relay team members are Tyler Chambers, Josh Lilly, Keegan Black, and Kasen Monds. The team will continue in competition this Wednesday at Waynesville in the Frisco League Track meet.
