Licking’s fourth, fifth and sixth grade Spring Concert was Monday, May 20, at the Sherman Hill Field House. Mrs. Briana Link led the young vocalists in performing four songs for the assembled group of family and friends. “Hey Brother” by Avicil, arranged by Mark Brymer, led off the show. This was followed by Coldplay’s “A Sky Full of Stars,” arranged by Mac Huff. Soloists Aubrey Gorman and Kylee Rinne were featured at the beginning of “Something Just Like This,” by The Chainsmokers and Coldplay, arranged by Mark Brymer.

The students obviously enjoyed the final number, “The Champion,” with its combination of singing and rap. This piece was recorded by Carrie Underwood and Ludacris, and the evening’s performance of it was arranged by Mrs. Link.
The concert may have been short in length, but it wasn’t short on talent and effort, as the up and coming singers entertained the crowd well. Congratulations to Mrs. Link and the students on a job well done.
