Licking High School Track athletes compete at the State Meet

The Licking High School Track team competed at the State Meet last Friday and Saturday in Jefferson City. 
There were three athletes who attained All-State honors by placing in the top eight in their events. They were Josh Lilly, third place Pole Vault clearing a height of 13’0”,

 eighth place finish.

Other members of the team competing at the state meet, but not receiving medals were Keegan Black 10th place 1600m run with a time of 4:48.19, Maggie Cline 14th place in the 100m hurdles with a time of 18.30 and 14th place 300m hurdles with a time of 52.95, Tomi Rose 14th place Long Jump with a distance of 15’5”, Cainan Hutsell 12th Place 100m dash with a time of 11.51, and the boys 4x100m relay team was 14th Place with a time of 45.78, with members Josh Lilly, Michael Milhizer, Kasen Monds, and Cainan Hutsell.
The athletes represented Licking well in the midst of stout competition. We are proud of all the hard work they have put in this season.
