Bobby Harrison Amburn

Bobby Harrison Amburn, 51 years old, son of Janet (DeWitt) Bell and Floyd Amburn. Bobby was born January 29, 1968 at St.Mary's Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. Bobby passed away in the comfort of his home in Houston, Mo. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Susie Brown, Henry Amburn, Sylvia (Cole) DeWitt and Melvin DeWitt.
Bobby is survived by his parents, Janet Bell of Houston, Mo. and Floyd and Lois Amburn of Raymondville; five siblings, Floyd Maurice (Heather) Amburn of Labadie; Steven Hall of Kirkwood; Dawayne (Ronda) Bell of Houston, Mo.; Deana (Mike) Dorscher of Oakland, Iowa and Angela Fleming of Houston, Mo.; his four children, Jessica (Robert) Hall; Samantha (Steven) Wellman; Justin Amburn and Ally (Mikey) Amburn all of Lebanon. Bobby was a proud grandpa to five grandchildren, Peyton; Brayden; Mason; Zayne and Violet all of Lebanon.
Bobby grew up in Houston, Mo. and surrounding areas. He was the proud owner of Bob's Barber Shop in Houston. where he made several friendships and he didn't know a stranger. Bobby had been a barber since 1986. Bobby was very proud of his community and contributed to many. Bobby enjoyed riding life by the seat of his pants, fast cars and music. He would play it as loud as he could. Bobby had many talents especially his artistic ability and had a wonderful sense of humor; he would do just about anything to make anyone smile.
Bobby loved his family and friends very much and cherished his time with them. Bobby will be missed by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and dear friends.
His family hosted a Celebration of Life Service on Sunday, July 14, at 11a.m. in Emmett Kelly Park. The family requested memorials be made in his honor to the Bobby Amburn Memorial Fund, c/o Evans Funeral Home. Cremation was under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
