Norma Pearl Klass

Norma Pearl Klass, age 83, of Appleton City, Mo., formerly of Houston, Mo., passed away June 29, 2019 at Cox South Springfield. She was born February 14, 1936 in Upton to James Ercil and Eula Leona (Ballard) Ragain.
Norma attended school at Houston and graduated with the class of 1953. She received her bachelor’s degree from Drury College. She married Paul John Klass, Jr on February 1988.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Norma is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Virgil Ragian; and a sister, Clara Flowers. She is survived by her husband, Paul Klass of the home; her daughter, Lisa Rana Arasteh and husband Sohrab of Hockessin, Del.; four step-children, Randy Klass and wife Gwen, Gary Klass and wife Kristina of Montrose, Kay Hudson and husband Rick of Weston and Karla Stinnett and fiancé Dennis Fields of Montrose; two grandchildren, Nasim and Omid; one great-grandchild; nine step-grandchildren, Tiffany, Whitney, Parker, Dirk, Spencer, Sarah, Amanda, Keri, and Rilee; six step great-grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Vallely and husband Bob, and Connie Flowers and husband Rick of Springfield; a sister-in-law, Ruth Klass of Kan.; a special friend, Darlene Flomm of Kan.; and many nieces and nephews.
Norma enjoyed, singing, family get togethers, sightseeing, eating out, visiting her neighbors, and loved all of her cats.
She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Services were Tuesday July 2, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Evans Funeral Home. Speaker for the service was J.D. Moore and Doc Openshaw had the graveside Dedication. Burial was in the Pine Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers were Rick Flowers, Ryan Flowers, Gary Klass, Randy Klass, Doc Openshaw, John Gibby, Parker Klass.
