On Sunday, August 18, New Life Free Will Baptist Church celebrated the many blessings that the Lord has given their church, including the completion of an intensive remodel of their sanctuary and classrooms. Their celebration included a barbecue with an abundance of burgers, hot dogs and delicious desserts. After the barbecue, there was entertainment for the congregation and members of the community who attended.
The Church brought in an amazing Southern Gospel group, Final Authority, for the group’s first performance in the town of Licking. Final Authority consisted of four singers and a pianist. Group members Chet Paris, Josh Hagerty, Glen Carter, Kevin Beckett and Eric Walker expressed their thanks to the New Life Free Will Baptist Church for having them. They announced they had a great first time in Licking.
The church had a two-part plan for their remodel. The first part was to fix the classrooms, which took around three months to finish. Then they moved on to the second part, which was fixing of the sanctuary and their roof. Pastor Darius Wentz would like to thank all the people who helped with the remodel.
