Missouri Ozarks Community Health Clinic has announced it will be opening its seventh clinic in the region in Licking. They are currently renovating the Bridges building on College Ave. and have a target opening date of Oct. 3. The plan is to eventually be open five days per week and the clinic is partnering with the Licking School District, and will see students, faculty, staff and the community. The clinic will take Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance and offer a sliding fee for those that are uninsured or underinsured.

Prior to the establishment of the Licking clinic, Missouri Ozarks Community Health had six clinic locations, the main clinic being located in Ava. Satellite clinics were established in Gainesville in 2003, Mansfield in 2005, Cabool in 2013, Mtn. Grove in 2015, and Houston in 2017. A wide variety of primary medical and dental services are offered at each clinic location.
