ENDANGERED PERSON ADVISORY 10-17-19



The Howell County Sheriff's Office has cancelled an Endangered Person Advisory for a missing person incident that occurred on County Road 3690 in Mountain View, Mo. at 4:20 p.m. on 10-11-2019.
Missing Was: Destiney Layman a white female, age 15
Update: Subject was located on Friday, October 18th, and is safe.

State of Missouri Endangered Person Advisory
The Howell County Sheriff's Office has issued an Endangered Person Advisory for a missing person incident that occurred on County Road 3690 in Mountain View, MO at 4:20 p.m. on 10-11-2019.
Missing Is:
Destiney Layman a white female, age 15
The endangered missing person:
Destiney Layman is a white female, age 15, hgt 5'9", 145 lbs, blonde hair, blue eyes, with braces and a scar on her chin, wearing black and blue "hooey" hat, black pullover hooded sweatshirt, jeans and cowboy boots.
Brief circumstances regarding the Endangered Missing Person incident:
Destiney Layman walked away from a school bus stop after school on 10-11-2019.  She was adopted several years ago and may be attempting to locate her biological family in the areas of Poplar Bluff, MO or Paragould, AR.  Information has been obtained that she may attempt to dye her hair or alter her appearance.  Destiney has been diagnosed with severe depression and does not have her medication.             
Anyone seeing the missing person, suspect, associate, or vehicle, or anyone having any information related to the endangered missing person should immediately dial 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the Howell County Sheriff's Office at 417-256-2544.
