Licking High School Cross Country team competes at the Frisco League Meet

Last Monday the Licking High School Cross Country team competed at the Frisco League Cross Country meet in Plato. The boys’ team was second place overall. Medaling were JB Huff, 7th place, with a time of 18:56; Jacob Huff, 12th, with a time of 19:41. Also running were Cade Richards, 16th, with a time of 22:30; Randall Hock, 17th, with a time of 22:36; Markus Record, 18th, with a time of 23:18; Ryan Melton, 20th, with a time of 29:10; and Robert McGuire, 21st, with a time of 33:49. Competing for the girls’ team were Madison Gorman, 8th place, with a time of 34:00 and Autumn Grover, 9th place, with a time of 34:35.
Both team continued in action last Saturday at the Fatima Invitational. The boys’ team placed 9th overall. Running were JB Huff, 36th place, with a time of 20:39.23; Jacob Huff, 47th, with a time of 21:22.33; Randall Hock, 57th, with a time of 21:47.54; Markus Record, 67th, with a time of 24:00.04; Ryan Melton, 68th, with a time of 24:14.08 and Cade Richards, 70th, with a time of 24:16.15.
Competing for the girls’ team and medaling was Kasey Richards, 6th place, with a time of 22:44.21. Other athletes competing were Autumn Grover, 63rd, with a time of 35:41.86 and Madison Gorman, 64th, with a time of 36:02.11.

Both teams will continue this Saturday at the District Meet in Washington, Mo. The boys will run at 11:15 a.m. and the girls will follow at 11:50 a.m.
