The Lady Wildcats traveled to Mansfield on Tuesday, Nov. 19, to compete in a pre-season scrimmage known as a Jamboree. Licking competed against Miller, Mansfield and Springfield Catholic. MSHSAA rules allow teams to play two 6-minute quarters against each opponent. The Lady Wildcats used this opportunity to look at different lineups and try some new defenses/offenses.
“We still have girls competing for spots at the varsity level. Tonight allowed me to mix some different skill sets together see how it looked at game speed. Some bright spots tonight I thought was our outside shooting and man defense. Winter Murray also provided a nice spark off the bench.” Coach Rissler.
