The Missouri South Central District Honor Choir is made up of the top 200 singers in our area. There are 100 students chosen for each choir--a Freshman/Sophomore Choir and a Junior/Senior Choir. Students audition against singers from every school in our district and 50 per voice part are chosen.
For the 9/10 choir, Cadrian Hutsell made the choir as a Soprano and Kevan Monds was selected on Bass. Athena Crow was selected for the 11/12 choir and also received an All-State Choir callback, which means she scored in the top 25 of the tenors who auditioned.

Being a part of these choirs is a great honor--especially for smaller schools and requires some additional preparation for the final concert. However, it is a great place to meet singers from other schools and perform some excellent literature under the direction of an extremely talented clinician.
