Two arrested in Licking for narcotics

 On Nov. 20, 2019, at approximately 7:15 a.m., officers of the Licking Police Department, Texas County Sheriff’s Department, South Central Drug Task Force and the Missouri State Highway Patrol, worked in conjunction with each other and conducted a short term narcotics investigation which led to the execution of a search warrant at the 100 block of Sacket.
The execution of the search warrant resulted in officers locating a baggie with methamphetamine, a large number of hypodermic syringes, glass smoking devices and other items used for the packaging, processing and consumption of methamphetamine.
Dawn Lord, age 40, of Licking, and William Keller, age 34, of Licking, were arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold at the Texas County Justice Center for Possession of a Controlled Substance - Felony and Unlawful Use of Drug Paraphernalia - Felony. A probable cause statement will be sent to the Texas County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office pending formal charges.
