Obituary - Bruce R. Turner


Bruce Robert Turner, of Duke, Mo., passed away on December 6, 2019, at the age of 62.
He was born in Yukon, Mo., on January 13, 1957, to the late Harold I. and Lanaye V. (Cross) Turner.
Bruce was a civil service employee working as a cook at the U.S. Army base in Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo. He loved the great outdoors and shared that love with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Brian Turner, and his half-brother, Joseph Stark.
He will be dearly missed by his surviving family which includes his daughter, Michelle Turner, of Union, Mo.;  his sister, Donna Underwood, of Farmington, Mo.; his brother, Harold “Snuffy” Turner, of Houston, Mo.; half-brother, Gary Stark, of Clinton, Ark.; two half-sisters, Paulette Atwood, of Cheyenne, Wyo. and Carol Hartman, of Raymondville, Mo.;  one granddaughter, Karlene Turner, of Union, Mo.; numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family members and dear friends.
Per Bruce’s wish, his body was cremated with no public services held.
