Three domestic assault arrests in Texas County

Domestic Assault Arrest

On December 17, 2019, Texas County deputies responded to a domestic disturbance on Golden Trail Road in the Raymondville area. While en route to the call, deputies were advised that the suspect had assaulted a family member and stolen a vehicle from the residence. Deputies located the vehicle traveling west on Highway B and initiated a traffic stop. A male later identified as Lonnie R. Royal was detained for investigation. Deputies contacted the complainant who stated Royal struck him with a flashlight and stole his vehicle. Royal was transported to the Texas County Jail. 
Texas County Asst. Prosecuting Attorney Jason Macpherson charged Lonnie R. Royal, age 38, of Raymondville, with domestic assault 2nd degree and stealing a motor vehicle. Royal was held in the Texas County Jail pending $150,000 bond.            
The above charges are mere accusations and are not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.

On December 17, 2019 Texas County Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance on Pleasant Road in the Cabool area. A female subject reported that a male had hit her and bit her arm and thumb while they were traveling in a vehicle. The male then dropped her off at the relative’s residence on Pleasant Road. The complainant also stated the male threatened to shoot her. Texas County Deputies and Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers located the suspect, later identified as Adam Fix at a residence on Lundy Road. Fix was arrested and transported to the Texas County Jail. 
Texas County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Jason Macpherson charged Adam J. Fix, age 48, of Houston with domestic assault 2nd degree. Fix was held in the Texas County Jail pending $150,000 bond.

On December 17, 2019 Texas County Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance on Neville Road in the Cabool area. A female subject reported that a male had punched her twice in the face. Deputies observed obvious injuries to her face. After seeking medical treatment, it was determined the female suffered an orbital fracture. The suspect James T. Martin was located at a different residence and arrested. 
Texas County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Jason Macpherson charged James T. Martin, age 36, of Cabool with domestic assault 2nd degree and tampering with a victim in a felony prosecution. Martin had plead guilty to felony domestic assault in July of this year. Martin was held in the Texas County Jail pending $150,000 bond.
