74-29 rout of Willow Springs Thursday.

The Licking Lady Wildcats won a pair of games last week, on the road over the Iberia Lady Rangers and at home over the Willow Springs Lady Bears.
Licking used balanced scoring versus Iberia to get a fairly easy 69-43 win on the road to open 1-0 in the Frisco League. Anna Sullins recorded a double double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Karlee Holland totaled 17 points to go with 8 rebounds, 6 steals and 6 assists. Kylie Taylor scored 17 points, 5 steals and 4 assists.  Abbie Sullins added 12 points, Abby Moncrief had 6 points and 9 boards, Kaida Cook 4 points, and Winter Murray 1 point.

The Lady ‘Cats put four quarters of intensity together versus Willow Springs to win going away, 74-29.  Karlee Holland finished with 28 points, 5 rebounds, 5 steals. Abbie Sullins finished with 15 points and 9 deflections. Kylie Taylor had 9 points, 12 deflections and 6 assists. Winter Murray scored 8 points and had 4 rebounds. Anna Sullins finished with 6 points, 6 steals and 5 assists. Kasey Richards, Abby Moncrief, Tomi Rose and Kaida Cook all tallied 2 points.
Licking is now 11-3 overall and 1-0 in the Frisco. Next Game is Monday, Jan. 13, at Richland.

Licking High School cheerleaders soared above the crowd as the starters were announced before the girls varsity game on Thursday. Cadrian Hutsell was one of the high-flyers cheering on the Lady ‘Cats.

The LHS pep band under the direction of Lauren Gifford performed at intermissions during the girls’ game Thursday night and the boys’ game Friday night in Licking.

It was Rinne Pharmacy Pack the Gym Night Thursday and at halftime of the varsity game, t-shirts were tossed into the crowd.
