Malachi Antle connects from three-point range to keep the Wildcats
right on the heels of Liberty Friday night.
By Coach Jess Ross

This week the Varsity boys fell to Willow Springs (43-67) and Liberty (53-61) in home games.
The men have been improving in many aspects of the game, playing harder and more like a unit as the season progresses. We were down by nine at the beginning of the fourth quarter against Willow Springs and felt like we were going to make a charge but we just unraveled. We shot 7 of 23 from the free throw line and gave up offensive rebounds that are always crucial to the success or failure of making it in the win column.
A repeat performance in the rebounding department took place on Friday against Liberty.
We emphasize it in practice and talk about the importance of rebounding for success on the floor. Eventually through reps they will pick it up and make us a lot better.
The men have a lot of work to do but are preparing for the stretch run and possibly competing for a conference championship.
