Rural elementary updates



Phelps County R-III School
Beginning Monday, March 23, Phelps County R-III is providing lunches Monday through Friday. These meals are for anyone age 18 or younger. Recipients are not required to be a PCR-III student. Call the school office, (573) 435-6293, from 8 to 9 a.m. and let them know how many meals you need for your household. Meal pick up is at the school from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Meals are free of charge and will include healthy, nutritional food items. Each meal includes lunch and a non-perishable breakfast. To protect you and the staff, it will be set up as a drive-thru. Do not get out of your car.
Phelps County R-III School has extended the tentative date to resume school to April 6.
Raymondville R-VII School
Beginning Tuesday, March 24, Raymondville RVII School District has free grab-and-go food pick-up for families who need this service. Please fill out the survey on the Raymondville RVII School District facebook page if there is a need for meal assistance during this trying time. If you know anyone 18 or under that has a need for meals in our area that can't respond to the survey, please call the Raymondville RVII School District at 417-457-6237. Breakfast and lunch are provided at the same time. Pick-up is from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Please practice social distancing and follow CDC recommendations during pickup.
Success R-VI School
During the current shut down the Success School is offering free meals to Success students and community members. If you would like to receive meals please fill out a survey on the Success Hawks facebook page. At this time, meals are scheduled to be provided from March 25 through April 3, and can be picked up or delivered from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. If you are not able to fill out the form, please call the office at 417-967-2597.
Due to direction from the CDC and its recommendation, the Success School District has made the decision to cancel their spring volleyball and basketball season.
