Obituary - Joyce Ann Stoner

Joyce Ann Stoner, age 67, daughter of Billy and Joyce (Rictor) Blaylock was born March 30, 1953 in Salem, Mo. She went to be with Jesus April 25, 2020 at her home in Licking, Mo.
Joyce grew up in Lenox, Mo. and graduated from Salem High School with the class of 1971. She married her long-time sweetheart, Dusty Stoner on November 27, 1970 in Lenox. In November they would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They had four boys, Jay, Paul, Steven and Dan; and one daughter, Deborah, that died at birth.
She is preceded in death by her father, Billy; her daughter, Deborah; a brother, Tom Blaylock; and a brother in law, Truman Hudson.
She is survived by her husband, Dusty Stoner of the home; her sons, Jay (Veronica) Stoner of Licking, Paul (Summer) Stoner of Jackson, Steven (Jill) Stoner of Salem, and Dan (Richard) Stoner of St Louis;  seven grandchildren, Montana Stoner, Mackenzie Stoner, Sierra York, Cheyenne Stoner, Cole Stoner, Denise Stoner and Levi Stoner; three great grandchildren, Evin, Willow and Devin York; three brothers, Jim (Lisa) Blaylock of Salem, John (Missy) Blaylock of Ill. and Jerry (Amanda) Blaylock of Summersville; eight sisters, Brenda Julien of Salem, Elizabeth (JD) Major of Ill., Connie (Mike) Wallace of Licking, Angela (John) Harrison of Salem, Linda (Mike) Mielke of Ill., Mary Hudson of Salem, Billie Jean Blaylock of Salem and Trish (Darrell) Callahan of Cherryville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Joyce was saved and baptized at a young age and attended Boone Creek Baptist Church if her health allowed.
Joyce always worked from home, taking care of her husband and four boys. She loved doing crafts, she built doll houses for her grandchildren and friends, made custom Barbie doll clothes, and anything else crafty to keep her hands busy. She also enjoyed tending to her flowers and raising chickens. Joyce was a prayer warrior, always praying for her family. Joyce loved her family more than anything, she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She will Lie in State, Wednesday, April 29, 2020 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Evans Funeral Home, you can come and view and sign the guest book during this time. (Due to COVID-19 regulations, Maximum of 10 people only in the Chapel) Due to COVID-19 regulations a Private Family Graveside Service will be held Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Boone Creek Cemetery.
