On April 29, 2020 at approximately 11:56 p.m., a Texas County Deputy on patrol in the Plato/Roby area initiated a traffic stop on Highway 17 for a registration violation. A records check on the driver, Jesse Anderson, indicated he had a felony arrest warrant for a probation violation. Anderson was arrested on the warrant and a search of the vehicle was conducted. During the search, deputies discovered drug paraphernalia, methamphetamine and a firearm. The paraphernalia included items used in the distribution of drugs such as a weight scale and individual bags containing methamphetamine. A passenger in the vehicle Gabrielle Dickinson was arrested as well.

Texas County Prosecuting attorney Parke Stevens charged Gabrielle L. Dickinson, age 23, of West Plains with delivery of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a weapon. Dickinson was held in the Texas County Jail pending a $250,000 bond. Jesse L. Anderson, age 37, of Hollister was held in the Texas County Jail on the probation violation warrant with no bond.
The above charges are mere accusations and are not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
