Licking Cross Country competes at Steve Waggoner Invitational

The Licking High School Cross Country team competed last Thursday at the Steve Waggoner Invitational at Willow Springs. Competing for the girl’s varsity team were juniors Kasey Richards, who won the division 2 race with a time of 22:17.16, and Autumn Grover, who placed 23rd, running a time of 37:20.80. Competing for the boy’s varsity team were senior Markus Record, who placed 17th with a time of 21:32.22; juniors JB Huff, who placed 28th with a time of 23:09.45; Ryan Melton, who placed 40th with a time of 26:02.25; Randall Hock, who placed 43rd with a time of 26:59.39; and freshman Dominick Donely, who placed 51st with a time of 33:38.64. The team will continue in competition this week at West Plains on Tuesday. Meet time is 4 p.m.
