Quilt of Valor presentations

Michael Roderman, of Licking, was presented a Quilt of Valor by the Noah Coleman Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR). He was unable to attend the September meeting so the quilt was presented at Montauk State Park. Charlene Turner (left) and his wife Barbara Roderman (right) are holding the quilt made by Linda Mondy. Charlene, Barbara and Linda are DAR members.

Former U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Michael L. Beesley (right), Owensville, was presented with a Quilt of Valor by Linda Mondy (left) and Alice Blain (center), during the Noah Coleman Chapter, NSDAR meeting held on Sept. 19. The quilt was made by Linda Mondy.
Beesley served 12-years in the U.S. Army, three tours of duty in Iraq, one tour in Germany, and one tour at Fort Leavenworth, Kan. During his third tour in Iraq, he was injured when his convoy struck an improvised explosive device.
Beesley is very proud to have served his country and was extremely honored to receive a Quilt of Valor from the Noah Coleman Chapter, NSDAR.
