Photos by Shari Harris
The Southern Missouri Truck & Tractor Pulling Association held their last pull of the season at R&S Track in Licking Saturday evening, Oct. 17. The FFA benefit pull started earlier this time, at 5 p.m. People came early to watch the pulls, and the crowds increased as the evening progressed. Pictured below, Mike and Sara Kluba of Beaufort, Mo., brought The Real McCoy II to the pull. The Klubas did pull with a 3.0-diesel Limited Pro-Stock pickup named The Real McCoy, before getting this International 966 tractor. The Real McCoy II pulls in the 9500 Pro Field Tractor Class. Regarding the name of his truck and tractor, Mike Kluba explained that his father’s name is Jim Hatfield and their neighbor is Steve McCoy. Kluba has already planned for off-season upgrades to his tractor, to prepare for next year.
