Obituary – Justin L. Creech
Justin Lee Creech started his journey on April 12, 1985, in Houston, Mo. He grew up as an only child, but with him along that journey were 20 first cousins and 27 second cousins.
Justin attended Licking Elementary, Junior High, and High School where he met his fiancé, Britta Nicole Karnes. Justin and Britta were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Brooklyn Nicole Creech and Ashlyn Brielle Creech, whom he loved and adored.
Justin had a contagious laugh, smile, and a one of a kind “Creecher” personality, you know what I mean? When he entered a room you definitely knew it and his presence was known because he was so full of life. He had a passion for music, spending time with friends, and most of all was proud of being a dad. He was employed by Storms Sawmill, where he was surrounded by many friends that he called family.
Justin is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Ellen (McVay) (Creech) Shanks; father, Jerry Joe Creech; grandmothers, Eula Eileen Creech and Margaret McVay; grandfathers, Wright Harmon (Bud) Creech, Sr. and Gale McVay; three uncles, Wright Harmon (Bud) Creech, Jr., Ronald Lee Creech and Randy Wayne Creech; and fiancé, Britta Nicole Karnes.
Justin is survived by his daughters, Brooklyn Creech and Ashlyn Creech; uncles, Loran Creech, Michael Creech and Bill McVay; aunts, Christy Walker and Patty Dawson; along with many cousins and friends.
He ended his short journey on Thursday, October 15, 2020, at the age of 35. His life was a blessing, his memory is a treasure, he is loved beyond words, and missed beyond measure.
A visitation was held on Friday, October 23, 2020, from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. at Fox Funeral Home. A funeral service followed at 2 p.m., officiated by Kenny Lewis. Pallbearers were Ty Wantland, Wiley Sisco, Nathan Huff, Kyle Rector, Jeffrey Myrick and Jordan Clay Black.
