Licking Cross Country goes to Fatima

The Licking High School Cross Country team competed at the Fatima Invitational last Saturday in Westphalia, Mo. Competing for the girls’ team were juniors Kasey Richards, who placed second at the meet with a time of 21:16, and Autumn Grover, who was 25th, running a time of 35:16. Competing for the boys’ team were senior Markus Record, who placed 12th with a time of 21:06, juniors Randall Hock, who placed 24th with a time of 24:37, and Ryan Melton, who placed 26th with a time of 25:36, and freshman Dominick Donely, who placed 29th with a time of 29:10. The varsity athletes will continue in action this Saturday in Hermitage, Mo. Runners who place in the top 15 at districts will continue on to the State meet the following week at the Gans Creek Course in Columbia, Mo.
