Cross Country – Richards wins District Race

The Licking High School Cross Country team competed at the Class 2 District 5 Race last Saturday in Hermitage. Junior Kasey Richards won the girls’ race with a time of 21:20, advancing her to the State Cross Country Meet on Friday at the Gan Creek Course in Columbia. Also racing for the girls’ team was junior Autumn Grover who ran a 34:44, placing 41st at the meet.

Competing for the boys’ team were senior Markus Record who placed 34th, running a time of 21:22; junior Randall Hock who placed 53rd with a time of 23:24.55; freshman Dominick Donely placed 64th with a time of 26:25; and junior Ryan Melton placed 67th with a time of 29:01.
