MOTORCYCLE CRUISE-IN
A special Motorcycle Cruise-In will be at 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Sonic in Licking, Junction of Hwy. 63 & Hwy. 32, Thursday, October 7. A toy drive will be held. There will be bikes, trikes, prizes, friendly people and DJ “Lew” of “The Road Show” will be playing tunes. We ask each of you to be considerate of your fellow bikers and others and give them their space.
FALL FESTIVAL AT THE LICKING MILL
Licking Downtown Inc. will hold their Fall Festival Saturday, October 9, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the historic Licking Mill in downtown Licking. Vendors begin at 9 a.m. The Bushwacker Band performs at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. A new event, an old fashioned quilt turning, will be held at 1 p.m. Come by and enjoy ham & beans and cornbread, enter the 50/50 raffle, and buy chances on two baby quilts and a twin size quilt. A pumpkin parade will be held at 3 p.m. Other activities include storytelling, kids’ games, and mill tours.
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS TOOTSIE ROLL DRIVE
The Knights of Columbus will be holding their annual Tootsie Roll Drive at Town & Country Supermarket in Licking, on Friday, October 8 and Saturday, October 9.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOXES
Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes will be available for churches and individuals from 9 to 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Licking on Saturday, October 9. Call 573-247-6655 for more information.
OZARKS OLDER IRON CLUB 34TH ANNUAL FALL SHOW AND TRACTOR PULLS
Ozarks Older Iron Club will hold the 34th Annual Fall Show and Tractor Pull Friday and Saturday, October 8 – 9, at 310 Cannaday in Cabool. Tractor and Lawn Tractor pulls, exhibits and demonstrations will be ongoing throughout both days. Gates open at 9 a.m., free admission and parking. FREE MOVIE NIGHT AT THE PARK
Intercounty Electric Cooperative will host Free Movie Night at the Park beginning at dark at the Old City Park in Licking, Saturday, October 9. Bring snacks and your lawn chair or blanket to see the movie “Hocus Pocus.” A local group will have concessions available for purchase.
ROSEBERRY CEMETERY MEETING

SUCCESS FALL CARNIVAL
The Success Fall Carnival will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. at Success Elementary School, Hwy. 17, on Saturday, October 23. Lots of family fun, including a live auction, chili cook off, raffle, games and face painting.

Lynch Township’s meetings are the first Thursday of each month at 6 p.m., at the Lynch Township Shed, 14472 Boiling Springs Road.
BOONE TOWNSHIP MEETING
Boone Township meets the second Thursday of the month at 5:30 p.m. Meeting is at the Township Shed, 16245 Highway AF, Licking.
