Track competes at Waynesville

The short-handed HS Track team traveled to Waynesville Friday night to compete against some of the best schools in southwest Missouri.

Highlights included: Finley Sullins placed fourth in the 100m with a new personal record (PR) of 13.30 and she ran in the “slower” heat.

Allie Hock ran her best time ever in the 100m and PR’d in the Triple Jump for sixth place.

Oscar Phillips set a PR in the Pole Vault, clearing 3.33m (10’11”) and finished fifth overall.

Carter Sullins also set a PR, clearing 3.18m (10’5″) for seventh.

Danny Corkell set PRs in the 100m and 200m.

Titus Scavone set a PR in Shot Put.

Alex Schwarz set a PR in the Long Jump.

“Tonight we wanted to shake off some rust and get prepared for the Frisco Meet on Wednesday. I am very optimistic about our chances in both boys and girls when we are at full strength.” – Coach Rissler
