Obituary – Sandra “Sandie” Williams

Sandra “Sandie” Faye Williams was born on August 1, 1946, in Taft, Calif. She was raised in Fellows, Calif., but finally made her home in Licking, Mo. She passed away on June 27, 2023, at the age of 76.

Sandie is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Williams; one daughter, Cynthia “Cindy” Moore; one great grandson, Levi Williams; one great granddaughter, Alianna Cole; one ex son-in-law, Donald Moore; one ex daughter-in-law, Marie Turner; two brothers, Donald Lanier and Jodie Ellis, of Stockton, Calif.; and one sister, Frances Dee Ellis, of Stockton, Calif.

She is survived by her son, Raymond Williams Sr., of Licking; daughter, Michelle Mardis and Bill Barnwell, of Rolla; one brother, Johnnie Ellis, of Georgia; five grandchildren, Raymond Williams Jr. and Bethany Heiney, of Licking, Johnnie Williams, of Licking, Jay Williams, of Norfolk, Va., Kasey Lindsey and Douglas O’Briant, of Rolla, and Bryanna Moore, of Kansas; seven great grandchildren, Raymond Williams III, Ernest (Ernie) Williams, Duel Williams and Willow Williams, all of Licking, and Kalab Lindsay, Dylan Kerns Jr., and Paisley O’Briant, all of Rolla.

Sandie married Ernest Williams on August 8, 1964, in Stockton, Calif. They moved to Licking, Mo., where she raised her family. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was the heart and soul of her family and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
