Obituary – Rev. Dors Gene Wilson

Rev. Dors Gene Wilson, son of Glen and Lucy Curtis Wilson, was born September 5, 1939, in Duke, Mo., and entered his Heavenly home on July 4, 2023, at his home in Phillipsburg, Mo., at the age of eighty-three years.

On March 20, 1960, he was united in marriage with Della Lane.

Dors is survived by his wife, Della; two daughters, Vicki Jemes and her husband David of Grovespring, Mo., Cindy Smith and her husband Donald of Lebanon, Mo.; five grandchildren, Glen Smith and his wife Nichole, Amber Macomber and her husband Shane, Ryan Smith and his wife Danae, Josh Jemes and his wife Jana and Jeremy Jemes and his wife Jamie; eleven great-grandchildren, J.D., Lucas, Blake, Tyler and Cole Smith, Addy, Drew, Briana and Paisley Macomber, and Jennifer and Jason Jemes; other relatives; church family and many dear friends.

Those preceding him in death include his parents; four brothers, Archie, Ishamel, Dean and Buddy Wilson; his twin sister, Lois Kinman; sister-in-law, Ruth Wilson; and brother-in-law, Tex Kinman.

Visitation for Rev. Dors Gene Wilson was held Sunday afternoon, July 9, 2023, beginning at 4:00 P.M. at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.

Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Rev. Dors Gene Wilson was Monday morning, July 10, 2023, at 10:30 A.M., at Highland Park Church of God in Lebanon, Mo.

Burial will be at Lebanon Cemetery.
