Obituary – Linda D. Carlton

Linda Dian Carlton, of Rolla, Mo., passed away Thursday, August 3, 2023, at the age of 68.

Linda was born on December 8, 1954, to the late Clarence Henry Norris and Dorothy Marie (Shuey) Norris. Later she married Jim Carlton.

In addition to her parents and husband, Linda was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Dale Hagenhoff; her great granddaughter, Huntleigh Robertson; four brothers, David Norris, Wayne Norris, Dale Norris and Donald Norris; four sisters, Barb Underwood, June Edmonds, Janet Colvin and Debbie Loughridge.

Linda loved spending time with her grandchildren. She loved watching monster trucks with her great-grandson, Theo. Linda liked to crochet and loved her Lord and Savior. Linda passed her love of the Lord to her children and grandchildren alike, giving them a strong faith.

Linda will be greatly missed by her surviving family which includes son, Billy Varner and wife Kristi Varner, of Rolla, Mo.; two daughters, Malinda Hagenhoff and Malissia Smith, both of Jefferson City, Mo., two brothers, Marvin Norris of St. James, Mo., and Warren Norris of Licking, Mo; two sisters, Brenda McGranahan of Lexington, Ky., and Karen Carter of Licking, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Brittany Thompson, Kayleigh McCowen, Payton Robertson, Sierra Johnson, Wyatt Varner, Kelsey Hagenhoff and Ben Smith; three great-grandchildren, Theo Johnson, Isabelle Johnson and Danny Robertson, and many other family members and friends.

Visitation was held Monday, August 7, 2023, beginning at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Service at 12 p.m., at Null & Son Funeral Home in Rolla.
