Drury wrestling sent three to the NCAA-II National Tournament, the most in program history. One of those, Peter Kuster, would produce the best finish ever for the Panthers wrestler at nationals as the Jefferson City native finished fourth in the nation.
After an opening round win, Kuster dropped his quarterfinals match but bounced back with three straight wins and came away with a fourth place finish. His appearance marked the third time in his career he had reached nationals and he graduated last spring with more wins than any other wrestler in program history.
